"We began experiencing problems with our vehicle almost immediately after purchasing it. It was not shifting properly and had a very rough idle. After a couple of trips to the dealer and futile attempts from them to correct the problem, they decided the computer needed a software upgrade. When this didn't work, we took it back to the same dealership we purchased it from approximately 3-4 more times all of which resulted in a myriad of excuses and attempts by the dealer to correct this issue. They even had a Master Technician take the car for a few days, at which point they put over 400 miles on it and claimed "not to be able to duplicate" the problem. They didn't even fill up the gas tank…!!

"The problem persisted and finally the computer just went blank and the car would not start. We let it sit for an hour or so when it finally started but all of the vehicle settings were deleted. At this point we decided to give another service department a try. They discovered it to be another software issue whereby the entire CPU needed to be replaced. They kept the vehicle for about 17 days attempting to diagnose this and any other issues; fortunately we have another vehicle at our disposal, otherwise we would have had to incur the costs of a rental since one was not offered, nor was a loaner.
